Kink 101 Resources for Clinicians
Jul 17, 2023Did you know that almost 1 in every 2 adults reports a desire to participate in at least one nontraditional type of sexual activity and 1 in 3 said that they’d done so at least once in the past. Your patients need you to be educated about kink practices. They need your support in understanding consent best practices and health concerns with specific activities. Here are some of my favorite resources for clinicians to get that training!
- TASHRA- The Alternative Sexualities Health Research Alliance
- Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Trainings
- Provider Resource Library
- National Coalition for Sexual Freedom
- KAP (Kink and Poly Aware Professionals) Directory
- Trainings
- Conferences
- DSM Advocacy
- ASSECT
- Continuing education
- International Society of Sexual Medicine
